Hi! My name is Lola.
I am a French Bulldog with big ears and an even bigger heart.
While I have multiple medical needs which often do not make me feel well, I am always up for helping my Speech-Language Pathologist mom. I have been going to the office with her since I was only a few months old. While I am not a fan of waking up early, I do love to participate in her speech therapy sessions doing animal-assisted therapy not only with the children she works with, but their families too. How can I not with all the love I get from everybody.
According to Buzzfeed, I was acknowledged for being pretty graceful in the article “14 Reasons Why French Bulldogs Are Awesome” (see #4). Can you blame them? I mean how many dogs do you know can twirl around with such finesse holding onto a ribbon with a single tooth!? In 2019, I was even a finalist in West Hollywood’s Cutest Dog Contest.
Through the years I’ve been featured on various social media pages and websites including: Purple Clover, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest- just to name a few. Most recently, KPVI News did a story on me showing how I help families. See the interview below!

My Mom
My mom, Stefanie Trenholme is the owner of Trenholme Speech Therapy, a private pediatric practice in West Los Angeles. She has been practicing both in Canada and the United States for twenty years. She has also been a guest speaker at various private schools in both Los Angeles and New York City discussing how speech-language pathologists can help support educators in the classroom. She also goes into schools to teach students how to treat animals. In addition to being voted one of Los Angeles’s top Speech Pathologists by Expertise.com 5 years in a row, over her career, Stefanie has been recognized by many. These include being one of the “Top 30 Inspiring Women To Look Out for in 2022” by Disruptors Magazine, one of the ““Top 10 Inspiring Women to Look Out for in 2023” by NY Weekly, and “Women Leaders to Look Out for in 2025” by USA Today. Disruptors Magazine also recently published an endearing article “Magic and Storybooks: Changing Lives with Stefanie Trenholme and Little Lola Frenchie” which highlights how Lola became an important part of her therapy sessions and the inspiration behind her children’s books.
In addition, Stefanie has been featured in a variety of local magazines including the Beverly Hills Sheet, Shout Out LA ,Voyage LA and Bold Journey.
